Steve.
Looks Cool. If only I had Muddies on the Jeep.
I remember doing this track in the GV years ago.
Ahem...Andrew...I have a nice cheap set of 35x10.5-16 Silverstone extreme's just begging for a home at work...Mr ARB (Cal) ordered them but hasn't picked them up yet...Going for a bargain price!
Also its not looking like my car will be ready by this trip. I am happy to navvy and be the Official trip photographer if someone has a spare seat. Although don't expect photos as good as Mocks! but i'll try!
Andrew - If you are serious about this sort of trip I'd recommend a winch. Ellis is pretty unforgiving and it seems that heavy cars have to winch some sections at the moment, regardless of tyres.
I'm sure in dryer conditions your car would do very well - even with it's current tyres.

Boys, we spent most of the day on Ellis about a month ago, if you dont have a winch or hand winch dont bother. It is slippery and the angles can be quite hairy!
Not a track for the unlocked and undertyred!!!
