Canceled Easy-Medium Bunyip State Forest Sunday Dec 13

Post by Matthew »

Since there hasn't been an easy-medium trip in a while I'm going to run this trip in conjunction with Gregs hard trip.

The plan is to go into the park together and do the medium tracks, once we get to the hard tracks the "soft" peeps can drive around and attempt to meet the others at the other end of the hard sections.

I realise the logistics involved and that there's a good chance this won't run smooth, but I figure at least we can have a bit of a trip out on some medium tracks. If it starts to look to difficult for the two groups to meet up at the other end of the hard tracks we'll just go for a cruise and see what interesting easy- medium tracks we can find.

Let me know if your interested.

reports from some mates is that robertsons creek track in labertouche off forest road is in awesome condition, rocky track that links off there was graded at the start but "apparently" the top section was untouched, Andersons should be good in the wet, little bunyip doesn't exist any more, gentle annie has been burnt out not sure of condition....it would be a good day to go and explore, i think that it would be suitable for all types of vehicles in the dry....there are ways around robertsons and rocky track so that is no probs for the members wanting easier terrain.

Since Greg's half of the trip is canceled I'm thinking of canceling this half.
If I get another two cars along I'll still run it, but as is I can't justify it. Just remember that I don't really know my way around Bunyip so it will be a bit of an exploratory mission.
