Well after 34kms my cooper stt's had started to break up. After little support from the local dealer, I deceided to go straight to the importer, Exclusive Tyres. Spoke with Brad Smith, (on the current 4wd action dvd), questioned me on things like tyre pressures and how many ledges do I climb.
After explaining to him what I do with this rig and we dont have any rocks in Vic, he became a little more sympathetic. I think the fact I was in a club and was actually the president, and that my other rig on Simexes does not have one cut or tear, he folded. He acknowledged there was a prob with the st's, but not the stt's.
He deceided to swap all five tyres, and if I paid an additional $50, I would get the Mickey Thompson MTZ's.
Put them on the truck today and so far im impressed with their road manners. As quiet as the Coopers, but corner better. I think that Powerply crap actually works.
Looking forward to seeing how they work on the tracks.
Good to see Exclusive come to the party though and back their product.
Funny too as I was leaving, they asked if they could come to a meeting to speak about their products!!!!
