Down to the fiddly bits with the engine conversion. Where do people source firewall grommets? Can't find much on the web. Clarke rubber don't seem to have what I'm after. Was hoping for something similar to what I had in the Sierra but need another one now and the second hole is about 50mm to fit the large efi g16 plugs. I've imagined a few hack ways using tape, silicone, pipe fittings. I guess the goal is to seal and protect the wires.
Thanks.

Re: Firewall grommets
I think I was able to reuse the grommet from my donor Vit. If that went in the bin already, you might find something that fits at the wreckers?
Re: Firewall grommets
Good point. I need a trip to the wreckers. Need to replace a door on my ford. Should probably make a list. How's that build going Leigh??
Re: Firewall grommets
Hi Fellas.
Hi Brent. I reckon you can get a thing called a "cable gland" from an electricians supplier. I reckon they come in quite big sizes too.
Regards, Wayne.

Re: Firewall grommets
Hi Wayne. Funnily enough at bunnings there are very similar fittings for water tanks. I'll compare prices. Thanks Brenton

Re: Firewall grommets
I used a gearstick boot
Re: Firewall grommets
Good idea on the boot. Thanks.
Re: Firewall grommets
I actually have some of these in the shed, will try and dig them out and bring them next meeting
Re: Firewall grommets
Thanks Jonno. In retrospect I should have made sure the new hole was the same dimension as the vitara one. I had to borrow a mates holesaw which was larger.
