As the front shocks needed rebuilding ( they were 2nd hand when I got them ) and I didn't want to miss the Christmas Camp, I "invested" in a pair of Pedders "sports" shocks as they were in stock ( yes its weird I know ).
Coming home after the mechanical mayhem - Mouse didn't feel right and Steve commented that the passengers side wheel wasn't behaving itself - well worse than usual anyway......
Well a week or more later the Bilstein's are back and the Pedders units are in the bin. Virtually no gas left in them and the passengers side ones damping is probably down to the shaft sliding through the seal..... SFA. Drivers side is a little better but.
Not that I expected any real reaction from Pedders - but "you must have used them very hard" didn't seem a very deep analysis of a five week old shock.
So IMO save up the extra few dollars and get some quality shocks - Pedders ( which IIRC are made by Munro ) just arnt up to it.

I think that's a little past the "use by" date for any shock......

Rides rough again, like any good zook, but way more control on and off road.
