Centre handbrake sj50 adjustment

Post by BZOOK »

Hi all. One of the springs in the drum has come loose. I cannot get the nut off the drum. It's probably been on there for the life of the car. I will buy an appropriate socket and use a breaker bar next. Any other tips/advise? Thanks.

A rattle gun will work much more effectively than a breaker bar.

That's a great idea. Seems easier than the vise grips and large spanner I wrestled with for a couple of hours. Thanks very much.
