Paddys Swamp Trip

Post by Brad.Jones »

Hi Everyone,

If I was to run a Paddys Swamp trip in the not too distant future would there be any interest?
Most of the main Otways stuff is closed but nothing is gated in Paddys.

It would be on the Hard Side of Medium and the Easy side of Hard. Or it could be really hard if it decides to rain while we are out there.
Basically lots of mud and bog holes, very very wet at the moment.

If people are keen I will go out with some of the local boys and find all the best bits.

Brad

Are you in a position to set a data for this trip yet Brad?

We can talk it up at the meeting tonight.

It really doesn't bother me when. As I am literally 5 minutes from the action.
Could be this Sunday if people are keen. I will cater the trip to those who come.
Paddys has anything from super tough to super easy.

Anglesea is also not far away and may be a good spot to have some cafe latte style lunch.

I have a particlur track in mind that I have only managed to get half way up by myself.
It is my test track. Everytime I make a change to the car I have got a little further.
I am sure those that have 4700" tyres will find it a little easier but I think I should be able to find some interesting stuff for the more extreme cars in the club.

So if we get more the jonno wanting to go then as I said I'll do a Recce and make a plan.

I'd be interested in medium trip.
Weather and date dependant.

That area can get pretty hard core in the wet.
