Cool trail tough build.

Looks like they took the coil spring out of a Biro pen and fitted them under a Siera.

Those wheels are sweet.

True - at least they are captured both ends though, and the diameter helps with tyre clearance I'm sure.

It's a better thought out coil conversion than the average - not only are the springs captured, note that they are outboard of the chassis at the rear to provide some roll stiffness - note how balanced the car is.

Hutchinson wheels are uber cool. Brent from Trail tough runs white ones on his rock buggy.

Agreed with the roll stiffness. My blue car was the same however it used Overkill magic binding coils, I'm told that they now use the late model Hilux front coilover coil supplied by Old Man Emu.

Not sure about the shock placement on the car pictured but I think I might borrow the slider idea after I've 45'd the ones on doof.
