cool build for a toyota

Was hunting through the outers members threads looking for ideas of a future build and found a link to this build on pirate.

50 odd pages of pure tech, it's been my saving grace considering the crap on some of the other forums. i wish I had this guys skill...and $$$!

The guys starts out with some welding skill and a surgeons eye for details i'm only up to about page 6 but this is worth a look even so far!

Dammit Dan, now I have to make up the 2 hours that I just spent reading this at work.

I want a tig and a tube bender and a notcher and oh yeah, a surgon's salary..

He's clearly a very talented and very patient man.

I think it's too tall though. and a manual.... wtf?

I'm not 100% sure about his part design though. Mostly it looks really heavy.

Very well documented build and he seems like a really nice guy.

Yeah it seems like he has the typical slightly ill informed view that building things super heavy is the best way. He's put a lot of thought into it but it did come out pretty tall. Also for all that effort, dropping a manual box in seems like a step backward but as he says its his build and it is what he wanted.

i just like his attention to detail and his welding skill. haha Neo sorry for the distraction.

Another cool build is Athols daily FJ40 on outers. That thing is awesome! 1UZFE, 4spd auto, dumped on its butt, 13.5" wide mickey's and a supercharger on the way claiming around 540hp lol. What a daily.....
