Short notice, wombat trip sat 6th feb

Lloyd and I are heading out to wombat for a look Saturday, should be a bit of fun with all the rain.
Will be an easy trip with a hint of medium. Meet at the servo on the west bound side of the Calder just past Calder park race way at 9-9.30 am.

Wombat after rain is lots of fun.Fresh bulldozed tracks very soft and slippery,some deep swimming holes with water over the bonnet,and that was the first hour.Then I lost third gear only had 1&2.Diognosis light flashing away (what do those things mean?)Drove back to Gisbourn with intent to call RACV for the flatbed when the wet wiring from the auto computer dried out .AOK.Thanks to Mock &Catlin who got pix.PS got stopped by the constables Cause we want to know whos in the bush and then they asked me for directions.Looked Doof over without comment.A good day.Lloyd.

Sounds like an eventful day.
I need to get Mud tires on the car as from the sounds of it, the All Terrains would have struggles.

The car is up for it's 1st birthday soon, so if the finances allow new tires will be the go.

I am on call this week so I would not have been able to go anyway.
