50cm of snow on skene this past weekend

Sorry guys,but I won't be able to be on this trip. My wife has been in waiting list for minor surgery at the northern hospital and today we had the letter from the hospital , for august 30,she won't be fit to travel the next day.Crispin

Folks,

Matt, Crispen and I are all no go for the Saturday climb.

We need 3 cars to qualify for a convoy.

We currently only have two (Jim and Jonno).

The options are:

1. Jim + Jonno get up the Mansfield the day before and join the Friday climb
2. We get an extra vehicle on the Sat climb
3. The Sat Climb is cancelled

Jim / Jonno? Thoughts? Can you get up there a day earlier?

Any other ideas / suggestions?

Can anyone provide some detail on how to get from Jamison to the Summit?

Would like to get a map or two between now and then to be a responsible trip leader. Any recomendations?

I believe we take (or took last year) the Heyfield Jamieson Rd. Someone else might be able to confirm.
