Ok... so to finalize the meeting details for this trip - lets go with:

Yarra Glen at 9am, or the second option of Marginal Rd at 9:15

Please let me know if you are going to be at the Marginal Rd start point, otherwise I will expect to see you at Yarra Glen.

Thanks,
Greg

It's approx 100m north of the Melba Hwy and Rocky Track intersection. There is a much bigger car park there where dirt bike trailers are often parked etc.

It's a given that you will be much earlier than us (we have Jonno coming) so you will have plenty of time to find it.

probably. but it is very easy to go from marginal to rocky. not very easy to get from rocky to marginal though.

i guessing we will run the same course that we ran earlier in the year.

I just burnt the late night oil getting ready for this trip.
'Not something I have done since my Adventure Tour era
New temp guage and a peak hour drive discovered an issue,
started getting warmer than it should..
remembering something I read, I checked the viscous fan,
when hot it still spins freely.
I have pinned it up permanently spinning for now,
and will get new fan hub asap.

That was a cracker of a day -

Thanks to Greg/Daryl for organising the day.

We ended up with 11 cars in total - a nice spread of stock (Brad's GV, which did well and was very well driven) through to junk like mine & Greg's.

I think the trip really nailed what's great about a medium rating - everyone had the opportunity to stretch themselves if they wanted, but there were generally bypasses so nobody will had to stretch too far.

Hopefully we can get some photos up here but more importantly, it would be a great trip to get some photos up on Auszookers in the trips section.

Steve.

Totally agree.
I had a ball.
I enjoy watching new comers learn, too.
And learning more meself.
Very pleased with the Vit.
Rather impressed by the X90, and Travis's driving.
Thanks to All.
