Actually another rotary powered LJ50 would really take me back... but a 13B powered LJ80 would also be almost as suicidal :D

OK we are committed now - application processed.

Those who said they will help are now vital to our stands success. Daryl is doing some hard yards getting an arrangement for
shirts and jackets etc so keep tuned.

The cheap plastic "throw away" holders are easy and I can print the paperwork once things get confirmed.

There has been "discussion" on formal badges before - without much support.
Personally I'm not stressed either way, we can resolve the issue as per above.

I do like your foam cup idea - especially if its free.

Just recieved this as a FAQ....

Leisurefest - Frequently Asked Questions:

1. When is Set-Up required?
The show starts at 10am on Thursday 2 October, and it would therefore be preferred if the stand is ready at 8am on the day the show starts.

You may wish to have set up before the day of the show, see question 2 for set-up hours.

2. When can we access the site to set-up?
Bump-in is on Tuesday 30 September and Wednesday 1 October between 8.30am – 5pm. If you have any problems with finding a time to access the site, could you please contact Louise Munk Klint at the FWDV office.

IMPORTANT! Please notify Louise Munk Klint at the FWDV office what time and day you will be setting up, so she can ensure someone will be there to guide you around the site, and ensure that it can be planned to avoid congestion and wait periods.

3. Can we take our displayed vehicles home every night after the show finishes?
Yes, you can take your display vehicles to and from the show, as long as the vehicles are on site well before the show opens and people start queuing up and after the show closes.

You may also wish to organise for car-pooling and leave the club’s show vehicle behind

4. Do we get any Exhibitors’ show passes?
Yes, for the entire duration of the show you will receive a minimum of 10 exhibitor’s passes for your club for those attending the show more than one day and some complimentary tickets for attending the show only one day. If you need any more Exhibitor Passes, please contact Louise Munk Klint at the FWDV office and she will organise some more for you.

5. Is there power at the show?
Yes there is power and flooring in the covered part of the marquee sites.

6. Where do we put the display vehicle(s)?
It is suggested that you park your club’s display vehicle in front of the marquee site in the uncovered area (space is 6m x 6m) and that the tables, displays and etc go in the covered area (space is 6m x 6m).

7. Is the site locked up at night?
The undercover marquee area can be locked up so whatever you bring ie tables, chairs, brochures etc. can be secured each night so setup is only required once.

The area will be patrolled 24/7 and the gates locked when the show is closed.

Things to organize beforehand.... i.e. volunteers required.

Suzuki Loan Vehicle - Ross and Bill
Suzuki POS material and brochures - Ross
LJ50 - Lloyd, ( assuming his manager has talked him into it )
Sierra - Kerry ( is the A Van comming ? )
Sierra - Bill ( assuming its moving. )

Backup vehicle is the Phantom - just to cover the usual last minute pull out.
Don't eem to be able to locate a Vitara so it will get a miss - could always use the Feroza to carry the IFS banner

Photo Board(s) our current ones are not good IMO - assistance required.
Tables
Urn, water and makings ( for public as well as us )
Printed foam cups - Lloyd ( well you did talk about it.... )
Cards - Callum
Brochures - Callum

Always open to other ideas - suggest away, or better still do it.

As we have power perhaps Chris could produce a DVD of activities to play ????
