There's no harm in making it an official trip Wayne. As trip leader you can always just lead around or away from anything that is to daunting, taking lots of pics and map references of course!

Hi Louis.
No problem in coming to have a look. There is a good chance I will get stuck somewhere. Have a look and see what you reckon. You can always park and ride with someone. Lets see how many want to come. I sure would appreciate someone more experienced than me to be leader though.
Regards. Wayne.

That video was linked to get me interested in the trip was it Wayne? Please never take a job in sales and marketing.
I don't see why you can't lead the trip Wayne. That means we watch you go first and if you get into trouble we don't follow. Fine by me. Seriously though I don't care if we spend a lot of time walking up hills for me its a day out away from a desk and the stress of normal work.

Hi Fellas.
OK, you talked me into it. I will be a reluctant trip leader. The youtube was meant to encourage some of the hardcore blokes to come.
Anthony, will you be in your Maverick? Does it have a winch?
My Sierra has open diffs and no winch. Mikes' Jimny has rear locker and a winch. A Jimny is a bit light for pulling cars out of deep holes I think?
Steve, will you have your Sierra?
Should I start a new thread or post? to make this an official trip?
Regards, Wayne.

Good morning guys,
Yep, my Mav has a winch, all the recovery equipment needed to self recover and it's twin Locked.
This is starting to shape up to be a fine trip!
Bring it on!!
Anthony

In the Sierra.
Wayne, just change (via the edit button in the top right corner of your first post) the first post to include the usual details of a trip, Name, Date, Location, etc and add a date and rating in the title.
