Thanks, who knows the info may solve some yet to be created problem down the track.......

BPD came as a manual ( I don't think any of the homologation specials were auto for obvious reasons ) , they supplied a flexplate... but it has five bolts and the converter has six holes  .
However the local supplier has found an appropriate drive plate so its looking like a 100% bolt together swap. :D
No idea what its off but it didn't raise an eyebrow so it must be reasonably common.

Engine appears to be about 10mm longer ( its 500mm from rear face to pulley front ) than the Feroza so that bits OK - its actually not that easy to measure engine length accurately with all the bits sticking out...

Even has a swashplate aircon compressor already fitted so endless air without the work of mounting brackets.
its @#$% close to the turbo - so whether it'l last is debatable...... still free is a good price.
Alternator is a bit small @70A but if the 150A Bosch unit is a PITA to fit - will live with it.

Damm nice engine, forged crank, rods, pistons, big end girdle, windage tray etc etc - shame to get it dirty.
Dual runner intake system will be interesting - not quite certain what strategy is used to control the aux butterflies.
