15-Jan-2012 - Warburton - Medium

Post by Greg »

Notes:
I have split the two trips into two threads to make it a bit clearer.
Brad has been nice enough to put up his hand to lead this trip

TRIP TITLE:
Warburton Medium Day Trip

TRIP DATE:
Sunday 15-Jan-2011

TRIP DESCRIPTION:
Medium Trip:
This trip will loosely represent the old Yarra State Forest trip that Steve G used to run.
If you haven't been out to Warburton for a drive before - you are in for a treat!

I would hope to get onto at least the following tracks:
Cemetary
Cemetary > Justice 'Link' track
Brittania Creek
Rock Ledge Track (next to Brittania Creek)
That should make for a good start

TRIP LOCATION:
Yarra State Forest

TRIP RATING:
Medium.

TRIP MEETING POINT:
We will meet in Yarra Junction at 9am - there is no fuel there!, but there is a bakery.

ATTENDEES:
Brad
Travis (Oscar)
Bunny Blaster

Is this trip still going?
If so I will be attending.

Who will be leading this trip?

Brad has volunteered to run the medium trip Andrew. I'm dont know if he will be in his GV or sierra.

I'm sure that between yourself and marty, there will be more than enough track knowledge and expertise to make for a good day out.

Sorry Greg, I'm out. Seem to have double booked this with a weekend camping with the folks.

Have a great trip, leave the coily at home, have the tow truck drivers number on speed dial and remind Dank to fill up with fuel.

I have not driven this area for a while now.
But I am sure it will be fun...

I don't think my Sierra will have the Diff and locker re-done by the trip. My mechanic is away and won't be back until next week.
Would anyone have a spare seat as I would love to observe?
