as I said if its neat and tidy then it'll pass....holes in floor, welded rear diff, probably not but like Gwagen said easy fixes...he's not dodgy...he's just reasonable.

Re: In my dreams... oh maybe not :)
Alright so the one I was looking at went for a small fortune - $6,800 I went as far as $5,000 and watched in amazement as it just kept on going up.
Anyway found myself a new one to look into: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/110787922882 ... 1423.l2649
Not quiet as modded but that in it's self is probably a good thing as by the sounds of the description at least it should be pretty easy to get the RWC.
Will be looking at it tonight after work.

That looks like a good starting point. Bear in mind though, if you are looking at driving harder terrain, tin tops can end up looking rough quick- even Steve's has copped some gutter damage. It is very east to total one with quite a light flop.
Just something to keep in mind.

Well thats the whole point of getting one of these, I would rather bend this than my GV.
I could always add a roll cage later... who knows it might turn into comp truck

There is a point where panel damage becomes inconvenient though- if the pillars are bent and a windscreen won't fit, or the doors don't seal. An Exo cage, or this:

Is the way around the problem.
Not sure if the photos are visible (on my phone) I have some at home i will post tonight.
Mitch's car is about 5" narrower at the c pillar and 3" at the b pillar. It desperately needs some protection.

Looks pretty good- there's nearly $1k of bullbar there alone.
