Front coils?

Has there been a coil conversion on a sj40 or leafy incorporating front struts off a jimny or sj80?

No, not as far as I am aware.

coiler front strut things are terrible - very short travel and poorly designed.

Jimny's use a separate coil and shock - no strut.

If you are talking bout this for your blue car, I'd keep it simple and leave it leaf.

Airshocks are cheap enough and good for Zook club style driving. Should look at them.

stay with leaves and get it going so we can wheel a pair of tin-tops
you can always change it later
