Hi Guys,
Got an odd one, I tried plunging one of those 12v fluros into the rear 12v socket in my 2003 Grand Vitara.
Didn't work, tried an inverter, it wouldn't fire up anyway - figured it must have been a fuse.
I went through and visually checked each an every fuse both inside and under the bonnet and they were all fine.
So then I pulled the socket out and thought it must have been some dodgy connections, still nothing (multimeter connected directly to the wires).
The front two sockets work fine and I worked out which fuse they were on.
Anyone got any suggestions before I run some new cable.
I'll end up running some half decent stuff if I do so that one day a second battery may go in the back for the longer trips.
Its more just the annoyance of something not working the way it should.
