If people are keen to camp, like I said Stevensons Falls is a great camp site, only amenities are drop dunnies...and some good wheeling in this wet weather within a minute drive. Gellibrand cabin luxury sounds like a nice option though! Oregon is such a sweet track, keen to go back.

Lets target the 14th/15th of may. If not enough people can make it, I will postpone it to the 25th/26th of June.

Who can make May?
Plan would be to head up on friday night for a 9am start saturday morning. Drive Oregon and 7 hills on the Saturday and hopefully Deans Marsh (pending) on the sunday depending how quickly we move and number of cars etc. I would like to also open this one up to the geelong guys to join us if there are no objections as this is their back yard. Lets say 4 cars minimum or the trip doesnt run.
This is a hard trip in winter, if you are not sure if this is suitable for you, call me.
I will put more details up closer to it but most likely camping at gellibrand caravan park or at stevensons

Geelong guys are great value. I've got no problem with them coming along. I had a ball with them on the weekend. Plus it makes for easy Nav when you have people that know where they are going.

EDIT: I think my zook needs some TLC before this trip on second thoguhts. I was tempting fate on the last one, now have a driveline vibration under load off the line...thinking rear uni...hoping...will keep in the loop.

Hi Guys,

New member here, I think this is a bit of a long shot but I figure there is no harm in asking.
I am actually from Geelong myself so when I saw the Otway trip I figured that might be a good
one to start with but then I think I read somewhere it would be pretty hard so perhaps not...

I have a stock 2003 Grand Vitara, looking into getting a lift and some muddies for it but
considering I just bought it money is a little scarce at the moment.

Is there any chance of running some easier tracks?

Thanks Brad

Hey brad, This will be a hard trip. I dont' think Jonno would run an easy or medium otways trip...i know I wouldn't go unless it was hard...too far to travel for an easy trip. But feel free to jump in the passenger seat of one of the other rigs or mine if i've got a spare seat...it's pretty good fun to go on a hard trip and not take your car...means you can go home at the end of the day and not have to worry about the cleanup or breakages! plus spare photographers are always good!

Hey brad, you would need to spend a lot on your car and really not like it very much to want to take it on a hard trip so I doubt it is what your looking for. More than happy to have you join in a passenger seat and drive to wherever we camp etc. You will have a ball coming out even as a passenger. Keep an eye out for easy trips as well, unfortunately they are usually not on the otways side of melb but I am sure the guys would love to go there and I could suggest some tracks to do.

Would there be enough room for the misses as well?
