Hi Bruce

As my car wont be ready for the hard trip next weekend I would like to put my hand up for this one instead.
I should have the 1l transfer case in by then at least, but if all else fails and I'm still not ready for even an easy trip I can take the Pajero.

Cheers,

Neo

At the count to date, it seems we have the following starters:-
Myself
Andrew W.
Chris L.
Steve125.
Neo.

As I've posted in the Tech section, my Sierra has developed an idle issue (Just started yesterday). Hopefully it will be resolved by the carby specialists tomorrow.
I'll keep you posted.

Yeah! No way Beck, the forester is firmly booked for the Sunday morning market.
Anyway, the Sierra's woes have been resolved and now running ok, fingers crossed, so I'm in the go position for this trip.
Could the declared starters please confirm their intention by Friday so I know who to definitely expect.

Bruce.

The wife (and as such the daughter too) is thinking of coming but she only wants to come if its almost all graded.
Do we know track conditions? If they do come I will be in the Pajero.

Hey Chris.

If you want to come and do not have a car, I have a spare seat.

Many thanks for that, but I got the new beast on the road..
This will be its maiden voyage.

The going will be mostly fairly easy (2WD). There is a very steep decent of about 3K into the Jordan valley but surface is good, although would be dry weather only. Jordan river ford at the bottom.
So if she's not too put off by steep downhill, she'll be fine.
The track we'll exit the valley on is not very steep.
