Mt Skene winter access

I checked with the Association today about the status of winter access to the Jamieson-Licola Rd over Mt Skene in winter. It was confirmed on Friday that the situation will be the same as last year. We will need to apply for an accesss permit from the Association. It doesn't matter how you get there but if you are on the road and get caught without a permit you will feel financial pain. In theory a permit will take about a week to be issued. You will need to provide the registration numbers of the vehicles and the names of all people on the trip i.e. drivers AND passengers. You can apply as many times as you like so you could actually put in an application for every weekend.
