I also forgot to add my idle problem, started on the track, just occasionally, but by the time I hit the city wouldn't idle below 1800rpm, not a fun drive once I left the freeway.

I think I'd enjoy mud more, if frog wasn't a daily driver.
I get financially strained by alternators, brakes and bearings etc.

I'd have given my right CONTENT DELETED to have them fitted and the front diff done at SEVERAL points of the day.

Just NO GRIP from the Coopers in the greasy mud and too wide to cut in. And stalling all the &^%$# time didn't add to the experience.

Had that problem couple months back. A right PITA in traffic and at lights. Ended up having to get the carb reco'd.
Like you, it all started after bogholes :x

You can just about see the CHARGE FAIL light about to come on in the last pic :cry:

And that was on top of no idle....... :(

Perhaps your right, It ( vehicle not battery )certainly was charging at that very point in time.

Maybee I was just following the dashboards directions ;) I'll tell that to the nice officer.
