I have an epirb with 2 way satellite sms.

Have a remote area first aid kit. (With no official training how to use it)

Will have a bit of space if people need some.

I have a spot with tie downs for 2 x 20L jerries.
If yous think I don't need much spare fuel for me.
I also have a 10L I could put in for me.
(road range is about 750 to 800 dependant on right foot etc)
Steel jerries with good seal only, as I will be breathing inside the Paj :)
(or I can just bring my 2 known good ones for others to use?)

Other stuff could be carried, but keep in mind my dog is fluffy and smells as bad as me :)

Rear section will be dog free, but only lighter stuff goes behind the axle.

Hi Chris welcome aboard :D

I've re-written 'the write up' post with updated vehicle list. Up to 9 cars now; we may need to be prepared to spread over a few campsites here and there if there isn't enough room. Will figure that out as we go i guess.

Lets all regroup after the meeting next month to discuss some more details. Bring whatever info you think might be helpful. Can i also request that the presentation on that night is a quick one?

Sounds like a good plan. Looks like we'll need these $30 passes https://shop.parks.tas.gov.au/ProductInfo.aspx?id=182 and we get a snazzy book. Can print out some copies of the maps in A4 for the meeting. Cheers.

Thanks for making me feel welcome at my first club meet tonight.
I'm booked the car on the Spirit, coming for the full trip.
Might be a bit dusty from a work party on the Thursday night but will get a good sleep on the boat, Bass Strait depending...
Can't wait, looks like an awesome itinerary! :D
Looking forward to more of these West coast shenanigans...

https://www.transport.tas.gov.au/licens ... road_rules

https://www.transport.tas.gov.au/__data ... v_2017.pdf

Tasmania has three types of default speed limits:
● 50 km/h in urban (built-up) areas
● 80 km/h in country areas on an unsealed road (This could be important)
● 100 km/h in country areas on a sealed road.

Don’t go faster than 40 km/h within 50 metres of a bus with a school bus warning sign and lights.
This includes driving behind or towards a bus. (new to me but this could be same as Vics latest rules)

I didn't find anything else that could be important.

Yeah agree let’s do dinner before meeting, at the club hall. Order pizza in or something. I can make 6pm. Turn up then if you can.

Anyone got a key that would be coming to that?

I tried the whole temp snorkel thing, concepts all good. Does any one want some ag pipe to take? I’ll bring it along just in case
