Multi use trailer

Post by BZOOK »

Hi all. As a family of 5 I've run out of boot and roof space on family trips in the Fairmont. I'm keen to get a trailer. I'd love something that I can load up for holidays but could also trailer the NT sj50. Does such an option exist? Thinking flat bed but with options for a cage or sides. Thanks.

I made my uncles cage for his trailer quick release, easily done.

Ive been thinking of doing the exact same thing for my trailer but with the option for a full box trailer we could fit pianos in.

So 3 in 1 is ideal. Flat bed come box trailer come caged trailer. What's the smallest trailer you could tow a zook on?

The trailer I’m currently finishing off is an 11x6 which my suzuki will fit on. It’s single axle and will be registered for 2000kg gross. Final weight of trailer should be under 500kg

It’s a flat bed but the wheel arches are ramped and sit within the overall width of the trailer. The suzuki drives up and over the guards so I could keep the trailer height lower and keep the overall width of the trailer narrower. It will be getting removable sides at some point down the track.

You should pop some pics in the build section. Sounds ideal.
