Hi All, We are back from our 3 month Canning Stock route / Western Australia trip. Over 16k kms all up. We’ve recorded all the costs and fuel usage etc. If anyone’s interested in this sort of stuff let me know.
Some things of interest several of the stations out that way are no longer using the Diesel Daihatsu’s as they are getting too old and too hard to find parts – instead Sierras are the choice for local farm run about stuff.
The beach towns on the coast had a heap of Suzuki’s – we saw far more driving around over there, than any other place in Aus.
Here are some pics of one behind a caravan park that has had an ‘interesting; engine and transmission change over.
Wasn’t even sure if the blue car in the other photo was a Suzuki.
See you soon

Hi Fellas.
That's an interesting way of creating more leg room in a Sierra. Just move the engine forward.
Is it a Torana 4 cyl engine?
Regards Wayne.
