NOTE DATE CHANGE - place indicate availability.
Hi Team,
As discussed at the meeting, the likelihood of my shed being in a state to accept visitors is low in the near future, but, I can certainly run a tech evening at our studio/week digs in Northcote.
Time: 6.30pm onwards
Location: 233a High Street Northcote. (Above Joe's Shoe Store)
Getting there: There is pretty good street parking in the area, which is unrestricted after 6.00pm. It's also on the 86 tram line and about a 400m walk from Merri or Northcote railway stations.
What to bring: Cash for Pizza and beverages (circa $15 would cover this) BYO adult beverages, There is a bottle shop across the road. Bring a tablet or laptop if you like, pencil and paper for notes or ideas, magazines or websites, photos, whatever for things you want to discuss
Topics: Largely up to you guys. These "bench racing" sessions can be really good fun. They can be as specific or as wildly conceptual as you like.
We had a good show of hands for this at the meeting. Room capacity is circa 13. Who is in? I've made it the Wednesday, but I can move it if necessary.

With all the rookie mistakes I'm making with my engine swap "I am not worthy!!" I'll leave a spot to someone further along thier journey. Maybe next time.

Question 1. How do you fit a vitara steering column to a Sierra uni? Um. You spend a few solid hours widening the opening. Then you read a little further along the build thread and find out they are a different spline!! Deep breath. Hahaha. Off to the wreckers to find something that actually works. I'll keep an eye on the numbers and confirm closer to the date. Thanks.

I had a very good show of hands for this at the meeting, but with three days to go, only two confirmed.
I have other things I could be doing that night - should I move the date so some or all of the people who expressed interest at the meeting come along?
