Greetings All, We have just collected a new white Jimny auto from Allan Mance in Footscray. Nice people to deal with.

I have just one query -- What is the button on the front RHS of the gear selector plate? What does it do? Thanks, Robert in Warrnambool 3280.

Shift lock? Generally to permit the lever to move out of park without your foot on the brake for service purposes.

Thanks. Our unit is stock standard auto. Was fully run-in after driving out of Melbourne in Friday arvo traffic! Robert in Warrnambool.
