Seat?

Post by porter.8.luke »

I know its not a suzuki but i want to upgrade the drivers seat in my duelcab. I would like something that is not to restrickting but holds me in. Im a lot bigger than most suzuki drivers but i do like a more upright driving position.
Let me know what you have or seats you like that i can get in. Cheers

Hmm - that's a bit of a challenge with a Hilux. Whenever we put aftermarket seats in our hiluxes back in the day the seat sat higher, which isn't going to work too well for your size and preferred seating position. From memory even I had marginal headroom in my third gen hiluxes.

I don't have much to offer other than suggesting to keep your eyes peeled for Recaros from an SSR-G (I think?) Surf. I reckon they'll bolt in and they are supported locally. They'd be money well spent I reckon.

Mum had a V6 four runner in the early 90's with the same seats- they're not bad at all and will fit in the car well.
