Sierra Ute Rear Springs.

Post by luigi »

Hi Fellas.
I need to replace the main leaves (leafs?) on the rear of my ute. The ones I have work fine, except the second leaf has embedded itself into the main leaf by about 3mm.
I have been watching it for a while and am worried it will be weakened and snap.
Can anyone recommend a spring works that could duplicate the main leaf I have?
Regards, Wayne

i'd have some good standard ones here in Ballarat
other than that, I have had Moorabbin Spring Works make me some custom set of main leaves in the past, was a few years ago but they were $90each

Hi Fellas.
Thanks Greyghost I will give them a call tomorrow.
Has anyone ever tried resetting old main leaves in a press, cold? I have done it to second and third leaves, but not to the main leaf.
Regards, Wayne.
