Less is better. I run my normal offroad pressure in snow which is 5psi for my car, so for you I'd treat it like sand.

How are you going with the RWC Neo?

I have my rwc and rego appointment is for Monday. So rego is ok. And I will manage to get on the road and the wheels on by Monday afternoon.
I can't get my speedo gear to go onto my output drive flange, or my blow torch to blow oxygen properly to bend the transfer case lever. Which is stopping the transfer case from going in, but I should have it sorted this week.
I will also need a front recovery point worked out as I will have no lockers. That won't be hard.

The front tie down point on the Jimny is not too bad if it is like mine. It is a decent size and thoroughly welded to the chassis. It might do if needed and we are careful. Glad to hear it looks like you are going to make it.

I will be leaving tomorrow and staying at the Kevington Hotel which is 10km south of Jamieson. There is a camping ground on the river in the grounds of the hotel if anyone is looking for a camping spot. I will see you all at 9.00am Saturday at Jamieson.

i've recovered a Jimny by the tie-down points.
they are ok at a pinch, as long as you are careful and assess the situation and remove most of the obstacle

Thanks to Leigh, Jono, Mitch, Neo and Jon for a great weekend. Not all that much snow but we filled the up the day anyway. A few of the photos I took. I hope you guys found a hut to stay in.
Not much snow on Mt Skene
Some more snow at Mt Buller
I spent some time in Woods Point on the way back and found the museum guy who opened up for me.
Got home about 2.30pm.

Had a fun trip seeing snow and other things, thanks for the lift up Mike, hope you had a good Sunday.
Cheers to Leigh for carting me back down the hill again and cheers Jonno for your massive printed DIY rooftop map that led us to the hut.
