Hi Fellas.
For those coming from east or sth of Melbourne. Be aware of road closures in Melbourne today. (Run For The Kids). Domain tunnel is closed.
Regards, Wayne.

Thanks for another well organised trip Wayne.

Sorry we had to pull out part way through the afternoon. Vera was not really too bothered by the hills in the end after she realised that cars can go up and down them quite smoothly and I could have continued with only a little pressure. Nevertheless, I thought I was pushing my luck to continue after lunch so I quit while I was in front. Went back to Daylesford to walk through the same shops we saw the day before. Oh well anything for permission to spend more time away 4WDing in the future. (I think I did mention that I took off for the Wonnangatta weekend 2 days after Vera had oral surgery so I had to make up for that one!). I said to my daughter that she is now my only hope of finding someone else in the family that likes going bush!

Thanks again for a very informative and interesting trip.

Hi Fellas.
Lots of smiles at the end of today. The weather was perfect and the tracks were almost dry. A super day, thanks everyone for coming. :D

Thank you Wayne for a great trip, and to the guys who came along.
Everyone helped each other and kept it safe.
Loved the last large hill, the wife freaked out and was amazed how the GV got up it.
I do have a video of our trip but youtube upload is long.
I'll have it up soon.
Louis.

I could hear you on channel 26 when I was sitting in the main street of Daylesford. Must check out what antenna you have. I picked you up a few times on the drive into Daylesford as well. Could not hear anyone else.

G'day Mike,

I was only running a RFI 2.1dBi gain antenna.
Which is great for hills. I think the reason you heard me is,
I was the only one, I think with external antenna. Everyone else had a hand held.
And using it in their cars.
We all heard you talking to us in Daylesford.

Louis.

That would explain it then. Glad you could hear me, I could not pick you up if you responded. I am guessing you were on top of a hill at that stage. Disappointed I missed the biggest hill of the day. Never mind at least I earned some browning points.

G'day,

Finally uploaded the video.
As you can see, few fallen trees and some bush bashing to get around stuff.
Very enjoyable trip.
