Does the lighter weight of a Vitara Estate (compared to other larger vehicles) dictate in any way just what brand/tyre structure is more suitable for it? Are softer sidewalls better when airing down? Or does it not really matter?

I would look for a lower load rating like 'c' This is less of a problem with 15" rims than 16's which are often used in commercials and have very high load ratings.

You still want LT (light truck) rated tyres though, steer clear of P ratings. (As in passenger)
