TRIP DESCRIPTION:
A drive through the river valleys north of the Thomson dam

TRIP LOCATION:
West Gippsland - on the map it's the area between Woods Point and Mt Baw Baw

TRIP RATING:
Easy

TRIP MEETING POINT:
Trafalgar train station, 9.00am, fuel and bakery available

An easy trip through some nice country with a bit of history thrown in. Suitable for beginners and standard vehicles however a set of good all terrain/mud terrain tyres is recommended.

davjon, you're most welcome to join in, you'll will just need to fill in a visitor form and pay $10 for insurance purposes.

There is one uphill section that you may have a problem with on hwy tyres, especially if we get anymore rain, but it's relatively short and we should be able to tow you past the slippery section OK. The only other steepish track is downhill but is easily bypassed.
