Post by andrew_wale »

G'day.

Does anyone know how the township of Licola is going.

Did they suffer the floods again...

We've had members stuck at Walhalla that have only recently been able to drive out. What an interesting tale. Some people will do anything to have an extra long weekend ;)

Yep we were at Licola that weekend and just made it out before cheynes bridge gave way at both sides. We were the last rigs over the bridge before it was engulfed. The macalister again had flooded the lions club .And while in Licola getting road condition info we watched more of Tamboritha rd colapse into the river. We wre told by the locals that access to the alpine nat. park will not happen till 2009 (maybe?)
