Had a cold time up in the clouds.
don't write Jay off, he is good to go driving with, the other hilux driver was a total cock today and I personally won't be inviting him on any more trips.
This trip began as a non club trip so avoiding the other cars was not really an option unfortunately.
I agree we should go back to the area on a club trip with more reliable people.
Thanks for your patience today with everything Steve125 and for your guidance around the area and congratulations on snatching out that heavy GQ pictured above.

Maverick got pulled by a Vitara, too, but I have no pictorial evidence :)

Weird is OK, deranged not so.

Yep, Jay was a good guy.

One good outcome of the day was that a lot of people saw the awesomeness of Zooks. Jon and I drove the first incline (not really a hill at all) which a GQ spent 20 minutes trying get up, then Wayne came along and drove straight up, to which one of the (non deranged) guys said "how much can I get Zook for?".

Need more pix.

I had a good day, not hard core driving, but nice to meet new folks.
The rain made the tracks medium in places, though.
Tho there was the odd riff raff stuff I didn't like, most I met were nice people, having a good time.
Steve and John's leadership kept everyone safe, and got everyone up the tracks.

Wayne was a tad nervous at start of the first track, with no lockers, the smallest tyres,
and with a big truck very stuck on the first obstacle.
But in the usual Zook style he drove everything with ease,
and was was smiling a lot by the top of Striclands Track.

I was a tad nervous at first, until I discovered tyres with good tread make a huge difference.
The hairdresser car surprised a few I think.

That is nice of them to say.

Wayne's coming round with some pix and video for me to post, so they should be up by this arvo/night.
