Hey guys,
Apologies I won't be able to run this, my gf had to go to hospital. It's fairly minor but I need to stay here. Steve are you ok to run this? Sorry Wayne but you will need to find a seat with someone else - I'm sure that won't be a problem though

We'll meet at marginal road. Be ready to leave by 9.30.
I'd still like actual confirmation though of who is in.

Hi Fellas. Don't need to be sorry, Jonno. Look after your girlfriend. She is far more important than me. Thanks Steve. I will be there.
Regards. Wayne.

Well, that was a kinda fun day.
Toolangi was like Bourke street though, every GQ patrol in Melbourne was out there making stuff look hard.
We ended up with Michael and Ben in Michael's Vitara, Marty in his Vitara, and Wayne and I in Piggles.
We slithered down to the steps, which he had no problem climbing, then headed up Wee Creek back to Vic Range Road. We came across a bunch of Patrols who had just recovered a GU on 33's out of a bog hole... which we proceeded to all drive though.
2WD'd it to the top of Blowhard, and started headed down, and then hit the traffic jam of stuck cars that pretty much stalked us for the rest of the day. We headed down Blowhard and down Cockpit Ck, both of which were crazy slippery. Michael and myself had a crack at climbing Cockpit, and went far enough up to prove it was drivable, but Marty decided it wasn't for him, and whilst he did awesome all day, with an open front diff, that might have been a wise call.
Michael (or rather Ben, because he was driving at the time) wiped out a CV having another go at climbing cockpit, so at that point the vitara clan headed off back to Melbourne, and Wayne and I 2WD'ed it back to the top of Rocky track, which I meandered down, and had a crack at climbing (denied
)
All up, we didn't cover much ground, but it was fun to get back to Toolangi in the wet - the last few times I've been out there it's dry as a chip and that's been frustrating.
I'll upload some of Waynes photos when I get around to popping them up on Photobucket.
Steve.
