I understand where you're coming from but if the weather remains sketchy I'd rather to be closer to home/Melbourne rather than further away.

I'd prefer to trailer to the otways too.

Just to clarify my otways suggestion:

If there is a fire risk in any area, we won't be driving there.

However, if a park is burnt in the coming weeks, it will likely be closed and isn't likely to reopen in time for the labour day weekend. In this sort of scenario, its work having a backup location - I.e. the otways, neerim or (yawn) wombat.

Hey Greg, yeah I have 2 days worth of good driving there that you could do, I'm sure brad could find a 3rd day around paddys. Unfortunately I won't be able to come this year though, I am going to be overseas for adventure tour. Sorry Greg, I was really looking forward to it!

I've just got off the phone from Randall from Dirtcomp.

He's 99% sure he's going to be coming on tour. He's going to be riding shotgun with me.

He's also looking for other cars to shoot for the magazine. 8-)

So, A) There will be a cool article in DC on the tour.
B) Get your junk finished so Randall can shoot it.
