Gidday fellas. I have clients I do regular work for in Toolangi. They are strawberry runner growers and first class people. Part of thier property backs onto the state forest. About 6 mnths ago someone drove into one of thier paddocks, without permission, then cut the fence. A strong chain mesh fence next to the state forest. The fence had 3 electric wires also. It is designed to keep wombats and roos off thier strawberries. They cut all the wires and removed one of the posts.
The only reason I could think of for doing that would be some kind of emergency. If so you would expect they would contact the land owner and explain.
The land owners were never contacted.
Just thought I would mention this. I am certain none of our members would do this, but I think you would all agree, it does nothing to help our hobby.
Regards. Wayne.
