Deans Marsh Trip

Post by Jonno »

Hi All, decided to see if there is any interest in heading out West for a trip.

TRIP TITLE:
Day trip to Deans Marsh

TRIP DATE:
6/7 October I am happy to do a day trip or weekend if there is interest but lets aim for just the day at this stage. Let me know which day you prefer.

TRIP DESCRIPTION:
Trip doing similar tracks to day 1 of Adventure Tour a couple of years ago

TRIP LOCATION:
Deans Marsh, under 2hrs from Melbourne past geelong

TRIP RATING:
Easier side of Hard. If its really wet it will obviously make it harder but should be able to get most modified cars through one way or another ;)

TRIP REQUIREMENTS (Driver and Vehicle):
Standard recovery equipment. The more gear the better. 31's a locker and gearing on a sierra would be minimum I think. Call/pm me if you are unsure

TRIP MEETING POINT:
Will be decided closer to the event but most likely deans marsh town next to the school

I just realised this is the Bathurst weekend, better make it a Saturday trip so that we can all go home Sunday and watch the great race.

Sounds fine to me.

You got any idea what tracks you want to do?

I am not entirely sure where Jono plans on going.
I would say the bigger bog holes will be full, there will be damp sections for sure.
But unless it actually rains the day before then some sections, ie the hills won't be that wet.
