Placeholder thread for Stevie G to post up his proposed Anzac Day trip (i.e. on the Wednesday).

Toolangi was noted as a possible location.

Post up your interest here to get steve fired up.

(p.s. I cant make it - I'm on support for work)

I'm keen to come but won't be able confirm till tuesday night unfortunately.
I ordered rear wheel bearings but they sent the wrong ones, my replacements were meant to ship express post today but they didn't....... so hopefully they are sent monday morning and I can get them in tuesday night.

Are we still looking like going ahead with this trip though?

To tell you the truth, it's looking shaky myself. It will really depend on how much I get done tomorrow. Potentially, Michael could be coming up to start the CAD process of the coil conversion. If he makes it, I don't think I'll have time to get the rear limit straps in, and if that's the case I won't want to drive as I'm over the coils falling out.

Standard would be medium to hardish if it runs.

Ps I'd also want another couple of cars to make it worthwhile.

I'm going to have to kill this. I've been trying to resolve fan control issues all day and I've hit a brick wall.

As it stands, I can't work out how to get around the problem I have at all/ever, let alone for anzac day.

That's the plan Jon. Starting point is getting everything drawn up in CAD, and then look at laser cutting all the parts.

We're a while away from that yet, and some of the feasibility will depend on getting the last few tweaks done to mine to get the handling/ride height dialled in.

There's plenty of reasons to want to coil a sierra but with today's technology there's no reason for everyone to have to do it from scratch.

Cool,
I love the rear suspension on your truck Steve.

I hope your design will end up something like that :)
