Hi All,
Finally got my Sierra back. Now eager as to do some wheeling.
Anyone interested in doing a day trip either tomorrow or Sunday?
Day trip this weekend anyone?

Yeah and look what else I found: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/SUZUKI-VITAR ... 23197c9daf
Anyway great day out, love my lockers
Even without the reduction gears it just makes things so much more relaxed.
Although I still managed to get the thing almost rolling down the hill. Pretty much the exact same situation I had the GV in at Warby - JUST WORSE!!!

That's a good buy if it has a loom and computers - not mentioned?
If not, it's going to be a bit of a headache.
Steve.

If says "WITH WIRING COMPUTER"
that could mean loom, but may not

Ah yes, I missed that amongst the incomprehensible grammar/spelling.
If it's all there (both computers/whole loom) then it's a great price.
You'd need pretty good photos of the wiring. Vitaras don't have a separate engine loom - it's all one mess. The ECU is on one side of the steering column ad the TCC on the other, and the loom between the two is about 30mm round.
It's not easy/logical to separate from the body loom.
Steve.

Re: Day trip this weekend anyone?
hahaha - as much as I would like the v6 in the sierra I can't see it happening.
Seriously though if I did manage to get my hands on the above mentioned ebay item is it something like a mug like me can do?
I assume there is enough knowledge on these forums to help me hook everything up...
I was only just getting my head around fitting the transfer case gears
Assume that the motor comes with all the ECU, etc is there anything else that I would need?
What about efi fuel pump / tank, is there anything else I would have to take into consideration?
