Hi Team,

An active club is a happy club.

The best way to be active, is to have lots of trips running to keep everyone involved and motivated.

Here's a quick questionaire for people to complete so that other trip members can see what people are keen to be doing and hopefully motivate people to get these sorts of trips going.

It is my first attempt at setting up an online poll, so we'll see how it goes... i'm hoping people can pick multiple options.

We will run the poll through to the next meeting. Then, what ever the outcome, we will nominate Andrew to run that trip in the following month

Well the results are in...

7 people want easy / newbie trips
10 people want medium trips
7 people want hard trips
8 losers want camping trips
5 people want touring trips
4 people want social trips
10 people want tech nights
2 people want trip leader days

So - from this it would be fair to say that if someone runs a trip of say Medium level, that it should spark interest in at least 10 club members... so this is good to know.

However, what it sad about it is that only 2 people are interested in learning how to run trips - which is disappointing...

We need more people running trips people!!! If every person that goes on a medium trip puts up their hand to run 1 trip each per year, we would have almost 1 trip per month for these members to go on, with everyone feeling like everyone else is putting in just as much effort to make things happen.
