Zook Club Cup

This trip has traditionally been held on Melbourne Cup Day (Tuesday 3 November) in the Mt Dissapointment State forest.

However, given that Mt Diss will not be availble for use after the bush fires, I am suggesting that we run the trip in Toolangi. And, given that some club members will absent at some stage in November, i am also open for dates to run the trip.

So - since we are still 2 months out - here are the details so far:

Zook Club Cup
When - November - Possibly Tuesday 3rd
Where - Toolangi - seasonal closures have just finished by this time so we should be able to get onto Blowhard and a few tracks around that area.
Trip Rating - medium to hard. lets say hard tracks with bypasses (some might be drive arounds).
Trip Description - think of this trip as a one day adventure tour. typically we will head out to a location and drive the hardest stuff we can think of, and will often end up having a few laughs at a car lying on its side.
Contact - currently me, but i might try to hand-ball this to Steve

Still a long way away, but here is the list to get things started.

Standard rules apply - 4 cars minimum to deem the trip worth running.

I think i am pretty settled on Toolangi for now.

I won't be there I have an exam the next morning, and I don't think that being stuck in the bush with busted junk is grounds for a re-sit.

Interest levels for this trip were minimal at the club meeting last night.

As always - 4 car minimum to make it worthwhile running.

Wednesday 28th october will be the cutoff.

not looking like a trip will be running at this point. on the plus side - that gives me longer to get my junk sorted though.

TRIP CANCELLED

This trip just appears to have suffered from bad timings...

Everyone that would have gone is working on their junk / doing exams / getting dresses fitted for cup day.

We will cancel this trip and look towards the next one in mid december.
