Team
Just bought a 1995/6 2 Litre V6 Vitara Estate Wagon
I am getting rid of –wrecking my 1990 SWB Vitara G16A hardtop
Wheels doors etc are obviously different but what about the diffs, can they be used as spares for a V6
Any input welcome
John

John,
The 2.0 V6 runs 4.625 in the manual and 4.875 in the auto. If you have a manual G16A you willl have 5.125 and if it is a 3 speed auto then it has 4.625
If you have 5.125's they will be great to keep if you arre planning on running bigger tyres.
What's the state of the engine?

The vit is a manual so 5.125s it must be.
I am trying to nut out how to armour the underside of the V6 and if I stuff one of the diffs before that it would be good to keep/have replacements from the 1990 Vitara If they can be swapped easily
The donk has done 250,000 ks and is still good but it leaks some oil so it needs new seals
The car is still legal and being driven about
