Melbourne Cup weekend 2009 - The Desert

I was speaking with paul Mac and he is considering running another desert trip over Cup weekend. It is still in the planning stages but as details are available they will be posted.
As usual it will be a great camping trip for all sorts of vehicles but due to the distances involved reliability is required particularly as you won't necessarily be coming out of the desert each day. The sand drriving is pretty easy on vehicles and a lot of fun as well.
If the camp roast dinner is on again, that makes it worth the effort going too
