Lake Mountain-Marysville 13/9

Post by Matthew »

I will be running a trip around Lake Mountain on this date, if we are lucky there will still be some snow, if not it will give me an idea of what the area is like for next year.

I have trip notes but have never done this trip, so it will be a bit of an exploratory drive. This should be an easy-medium trip, most likely on the easy side, with a few spots to play along the way.

I will post more info over the next couple of days.

Joey had the same idea and place at the last meeting. I would give him a call, at the very least he knows the area well and could offer some advice. Paul knows the big river area nw of lake mountain.

Okay, we will be meeting in Marysville at 09:00, aiming to leave at around 09:15-09:30. This should be a fairly easy drive from what I have been told, but then again Paddy's was not meant to be that hard either.

We will be heading to Cambarville Rd to air down and then proceed to do an anticlockwise loop around Lake Mountain.

There are a couple of spots to have a play along the way, and if we are lucky there will still be some snow.

Add your name here or give me a call, 0416001866.

I think he was going to run a trip a bit further north than where I want to go but I will have a chat to him.

Claire and myself are planning to come.
We hope.
My lack of tread should make it a challenge for me anyway
