Will there be any snow left by the 8th of September?

With this warm weather, my plan for a bbq in the snow may have to be postponed for a year! Looks like we may be going to Avoca if we dont get a dump of snow soon.

Based on the McAdams Gap trip - ( which is a fair bit lower I admit ) I don't think theres much chance....
Have a chat with Daryl - some of the tracks we came down on the McAdams Gap trip might be medium on the way up,
so could be a potential substitute.

McAdams Gap is about 1200 metres.
No snow though.
Bill have you go your Jeep yet ??

The snow is rapidly disappearing.

We were lucky to have what we did at Skene. I think an alternative trip will need to be planned.

Apparently, the Jeep arrives next Wednesday, booked it in the ARB on Friday!

From the snow reports, I have a feeling Mt Skene will be very patchy.
