Hey guys
I have an oil leak in my 1992 Sierra.
There is oil spraying against the firewall on the driver's side of the car near the fuel pump and distributor housing.
Can anybody give me some clues as to what the problem might be or where it is coming from.
I am running against time because I have it booked in on Wednesday for an RWC.
Thanks in advance, Lachlan.

Re: Oil leak
It is most likely the fuel pump or its gasket.
In that area is a seal on the distributor and rocker cover gasket, best check those too.

Re: Oil leak
Clean it and then see if you can see where it is coming from. The distributor has an o-ring that is a common leak but the ones I've seen have been fairly minor.

Re: Oil leak
I'd say fuel pump gasket.
It's probably best to put a new pump on it at the same time, they are starting to get to the end of their life in most cars.
Steve.
