I would like to go on this trip, but am not happy having my number plate filmed.
What do we do about number plates, other than trying to stay out of the cameras fov?
I know my car has no mods, but I would still prefer to not have my plate shown on TV.

They actually have covers for the number plates of your car.....or you can do what I did on AT08 and cover them with duct tape......

Joey has advised due to the number of people coming on this trip he is now declaring it full. If you haven't already put your name down and you wish to come please ring him in case some people drop out.

A full newbies day what the. How many is there at the moment FULL. I believe in the past there has been 30 cars. Hopefully the limit is not to drive more kms on the days. Isn't the day more a social thingy.

Its my understanding that this was an existing trip, and as there weren't the numbers, or anyone prepared to run the new members day - this is the result. The other option seemed to be no new members day, a loose / loose outcome.

Given the circumstances, the Trip leader has to make a judgment call.
The camera crews also add to the Trip leaders responsibilities that weren't initially part of the trip.

Of course if we had some more trips happening then there would have been more options

Ultimately Rob, it's the trip leader's call.

I have been able to run (relatively) successful newbies days with 28 cars on them, but I'm not running this trip, It was actually a going trip before it was going to be a newbies day.

I'm sure it will be a great trip - Joey runs good trips.
